🌶️ Ingredients

50 Gram Rice
100 Gram Red Lentils
10 Piece Fenugreek seeds
2 Piece Garlic
1 Piece Onion
20 Piece Ajowan
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Curcuma
2/3 Teaspoon Coriander
2/3 Teaspoon Cumin
1 Piece Carrot, diced
2 - 3 Piece Potato, diced
50 Gram Peas, frozen

🍲 Process

  • Wash rice and daal and soak in water
  • Heat up the pressure cooker
  • Add oil to the hot pressure cooker, let it also heat up
  • Once the oil is hot, add the fenugreek seeds, wait for a few seconds, then turn the heat down to medium
  • Add garlic, onion and ajowan
  • Add salt and curcuma powder
  • Once the onions start turning transparent, add cumin and coriander powder
  • After about 1 minute, add carrot, potato, peas
  • Let everything cook for 5 minutes
  • Now add the rice and daal
  • Also add about 150 ml water
  • Close the pressure cooker, let it whistle twice
